For the last 10 years I have worked across all levels of care. I began my work as a therapist helping clients who struggled with Eating Disorders, Chemical Addictions, Substance Abuse, Sex Addictions, and Trauma/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). While working with clients and their families, it became clear that they all had one extremely relevant core issue in common that I believed was a fundamental contributing factor to the development of their addictions and mental health diagnosis. This commonality was early childhood development with family system traumas. It is from that awareness that I began seeking out specialty trainings which then became the focus of my work.

I grew up in a home where there was chaos and a very dysfunctional family system which gave me the drive to heal myself, become educated, and eventually help others learn that there is freedom from within through self discovery. With a personal understanding of how a chaotic childhood can create a lack of self esteem and self identity, I am able to help my clients to begin to recognize how it is all playing out in their lives today in the form of dysfunctional relationships and addictions. I guide them through the process of exploring, and oftentimes discovering for the very first time, the core issues that have brought them to where they are right now. Through this work, we establish healthy ways to move beyond these issues so they can finally heal and live the life they have always hoped for.
